Continuing along the route laid out by the exhibits of the Wine Science Museum, we now encounter a model depicting vineyards in their different seasons. Which is which?
Right next to it, we find a roulette wheel that provides information about the plant's growth cycle. Depending on the month we select, we can learn about the state of the vine at that time of year (left) and the tasks the winegrower must perform (right).
The museum concludes its exhibits on this first floor, focusing on the traditional grape harvest and the tools used in years past (pruning shears, pruning hooks, thimbles, and chestnut baskets). The harvesting process is carried out manually, as can be seen in the photograph.
The tour ends on this floor with a fun quiz to test your knowledge.
