This small chapel, typical of the Portuguese Baroque style, still houses a beautiful stone sculpture of Our Virgin of the Olive, with traces of polychromy. This unusual oratory was built over one of the two main gates leading into the Salvaterra Fortress. Erected by the Portuguese in the 17th century, it now serves as a reminder of the Portuguese occupation of Salvaterra.
